Wand Focus: Shock is a research option found under the Thaumaturgy tab that becomes unlocked for research after researching Wand Foci, along with being a type of Wand Focus. As the name implies, the Shock Focus allows one to shoot small bolts of electricity out of their Staff or Wand up to a range of 19 blocks, dealing 2 hearts of damage with every hit, when unmodified. The right mouse button can be held down to fire continuous bolts at approximately 2.5-2.6 bolts per second, making the most unmodified damage that can be dealt to be approximately 4-6 hearts per second, excluding the invulnerability period mobs receive after being hit.. Each bolt, however, costs 8 points of Aer Vis. The Wand Focus: Shock can be created at an Arcane Workbench with a potato in the center, 4 Air Shards in the corners and 4 Nether Quartz in the middle top, bottom left and right sections, along with 75 Aer and Ordo and 50 Perditio Vis.
