Research is an introductory research found under the Basic Information tab. As the name implies, it details the how to research, including how to use a Thaumometer to further one's research, how to use the Research Table to conduct research, along with how to create them, and the two types of research - Primary and Secondary. Secondary researches differ from Primary researches in that Secondary researches are "purchased" with experience, while Primary research must actually be researched at a Research Table, which one can learn how to do on said page. Although relatively simple, research can be daunting to those who are unfamiliar with the latest versions of Thaumcraft, and even more so for those unfamiliar with Thaumcraft as a whole, making this research very important for some. However, it does not unlock the creation of any items in specific, nor does it accrue any benefits to the player, except, perhaps, knowledge.
