Metal Transmutation is a research option under the Alchemy tab that can be researched after researching Magical Metallurgy and allows gold and iron nuggets to be duplicated in batches of 3 each Alchemically. This makes, so long as the needed aspects are in supply, both gold and iron much easier to obtain. Both recipes can use up excess Metallum Essentia that one might have, allowing for less waste of physical materials.Iron can be duplicated with 1 Vitium and 2 Metallum aspects using an iron nugget as the catalyst, and gold can be duplicated with 1 Desiderium and Vitium and 2 Metallum aspects using a gold nugget as the catalyst. These recipes are impractical, however, as the aspect of Vitium is very difficult to come by, and even more so difficult to distill into Essentia, making the aspepct more useful and well used in creating Void Metal.
