Entropic Processing is a research option in the Alchemy tab that is can be purchased for 3 levels of experience after researching Magic Tallow. It allows for an increase in the yield of bones and blaze rods, from 3 and 2 to 4 and 3 respectively, to turn wool into string, to create leather from rotten flesh and to create mycelium blocks.

Recipes[]

Bone Meal[]

Bone meal can be created Alchemically with 1 bone as the catalyst with 1 Perditio aspect. This yields 4 bone meal as opposed to the normal 3 that can be created normally - an increase of 33%. An easy way to obtain the Perditio aspects needed, if performing this recipe in bulk, can be to combine it with recipes using Ignis aspects and use gunpowder, as it contains 4 of both Ignis and Perditio aspects. This recipe can also be used to absorb excess Perditio aspects during Alchemy, but this is not self sustaining and more bones, although renewable themselves, must be obtained to continue this, and bone meal can amount quickly.

Blaze Powder[]

Blaze powder can be created Alchemically with 1 blaze rod as the catalyst with 1 Perditio aspect. This yields 3 blaze powder as opposed to the normal 2 that can be created normally - an increase of 50%. An easy way to obtain the Perditio aspects needed, if performing this recipe in bulk, can be to combine it with recipes such as those mentioned under the above recipe for bone meal. Like the recipe for bone meal as well, this recipe can be used to decrease or eliminate the presence of excess Perditio aspects in a Crucible while conducting Alchemy, however, this process is still not self sustaining and more blaze rods must be obtained to continue the process. As well as this, blaze powder has few uses on its own, making large amounts of it near useless.

Leather[]

Leather can be created Alchemically with 1 rotten flesh as the catalyst with 1 Perditio and Ignis aspect. This yields one leather. An easy way to obtain both the Ignis and Perditio needed is to use a single piece of gunpowder to make 4 leather at once. This leaves behind no potential waste aspects, and, as gunpowder is both renewable and can be created Alchemically itself, this makes it, arguably, the easiest way to mass produce leather Alchemically.

String[]

String can be created Alchemically with 1 wool of any color as the catalyst with 1 Perditio aspect. This allows one easy access to string in a pinch, if necessary, or can also act as a sponge of sorts to absorb leftover Perditio aspects that might be created during Alchemy. Because string can quickly be crafted back into wool, this allows for a renewable way to quickly and easily prevent Perditio from degrading into Flux.

Mycelium[]

Mycelium can be created Alchemically using one dirt as the catalyst with 1 Herba and Perditio aspect. As mycelium spreads, one block of it can be used to spread it to any sized area so long as all the blocks it is intended to spread to are adjacent to one another. Mycelium can be used to grow mushrooms at any light level and allows for large mushrooms to be grown on them using bone meal. This means that Mycelium can be used to create a large amount of sustainable food with relative ease, and, as brown mushrooms also provide the relatively rare aspect of Tenebrae, brown mushrooms can be cultivated on mycelium for the aspect as well.
