Elemental Tools is a research option found under the Artifice tab that becomes available for research after Infusion and Magical Metallurgy have been researched. The Elemental Tools are also, as the name implies, a set of tools that embody aspects of the different Primal aspects. There are 5 in total, an axe, pickaxe, sword, shovel and hoe. They are all mid-tier enchanted Thaumium tools. They are relatively strong, but can be easily surpassed with time after the advent of Infusion Enchantment. All of the Elemental Tools are created via Infusion with two of their respective Vis Shards, their respective Thaumium tool, Greatwood planks, and a diamond, as well as differing amounts and types of Essentia. All of the recipes are listed as having Negligible Instability. Despite their inherent enchantments, normal enchantments can still be applied as normal. All of the Elemental Tools also have a durability of 1501 points, nearly triple that of their "mundane" Thaumium counterparts and can have their abilities suppressed by using them while holding shift.

Axe of the Stream[]
The Axe of the Stream embodies the element of water, and is created by Infusing a Thaumium Axe with 2 Water Shards, a diamond, and Greatwood planks, along with 16 Aqua and 8 Herba Essentia. The Axe of the Stream is enchanted to not only to cut down the furthest attached piece of wood to the block being hit, but to also drawn and and all blocks broken with it towards its user. This makes it very efficient at chopping large trees such as Silverwood and Greatwood trees, or for normal day to day use. The actual names and levels of its enchantments are: Collector and Burrowing.

Pickaxe of the Core[]
The Pickaxe of the Core embodies the element of fire, and is created by Infusing a Thaumium Pickaxe with 2 Fire Shards, a diamond, and Greatwood planks, along with 8 Ignis, Metallum and Sensus Essentia. The Pickaxe of the Core is not only enchanted to occasionally mine Native Clusters from ores, but also to be able to detect ores in the immediate area by being right clicked with on any surface. This makes it very efficient at not only finding, but also mining ores, as it can produce extra amounts of ores via Native Clusters. The actual names and levels of its enchantments are: Sounding II and Refining I.

Sword of the Zephyr[]
The Sword of the Zephyr embodies the element of air,and is created by Infusing a Thaumium Sword with 2 Air Shards, a diamond, and Greatwood planks, along with 8 Aer, Aversio and Motus Essentia. The Sword of the Zephyr is not only enchanted to be able to slowly levitate the player into the air while blocking while also blocking projectiles and pushing away entities, but also to hit up to 3 adjacent targets for a base of 3.5 points of damage whenever the sword is used to hit an entity. This makes it extremely efficient at killing large groups of relatively weak enemies, or even stronger enemies, without too much effort. The actual name and level of its enchantment is: Arcing II.

Shovel of the Earthmover[]
The Shovel of the Earthmover embodies the element of earth,and is created by Infusing a Thaumium Shovel with 2 Earth Shards, a diamond, and Greatwood planks, along with 16 Terra and 8 Fabrico Essentia. The Shovel of the Earthmover is not only enchanted to be able to place blocks in a 3x3 manner when right clicked on the face of a block, but also to destroy a 3x3 section of dirt like material when use on any surface. This makes extremely efficient at mining for basic materials like dirt, but also filling in large areas with little work and ease. The actual name and level of its enchantment is: Destructive.

Hoe of Growth[]
The Hoe of Grown embodies both the elements of order and entropy,and is created by Infusing a Thaumium Hoe with an Order and Entropy Shards a diamond, and Greatwood planks, along with 8 Herba, Ordo and Perditio Essentia. The Hoe of the Growth is not only enchanted to till a 3x3 area when used on dirt variants, but also to be able to act as bonemeal, at the cost of durability to the tool, to grow even some things that can't normally be grown with bonemeal. This makes it extremely efficient at farming large areas at one and for growing crops quickly or other plants. There are no actual applicable enchantments to the Hoe of Growth.
